Privacy Policy

This policy covers Gap Force's use of personal information that GapForce collects when you use gapforce.org and its subsidiary websites. The policy also gives you information about how you can view the information collected about yourself.

From time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email address) in order to receive or use services on the Gap Force website. Such services include newsletters, competitions, surveys and guestbooks.

By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable Gap Force to provide you with the services you select. Whenever you provide such personal information, we will treat that information in accordance with this policy. When using your personal information Gap Force will act in accordance with current legislation and aim to meet current Internet best practice.

Use and storage of your personal information

This may involve informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school e-mail/Internet provider and law enforcement agencies about the content and your behaviour.

We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We may use your e-mail address and / or telephone number to contact you for promotional purposes, such as notifying you of improvements to the service, details of new projects as well as new services on gapforce.org and its subsiduary websites. If you receive any such phone call / post / e-mail message from Gap Force and do not wish to be conacted again, you must send an e-mail to us stating your full name and e-mail address with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line. An option will be available on the enquiry form if you do not wish to ever receive information from Gap Force.

Access to your personal information
