Where? Our camp is situated on Nasonisoni Island, a small island just off of Vanua Levu. The second largest island in Fiji, Vanua Levu has idyllic beaches, beautiful reefs, and a rugged inland interior.

City Centre Hospitals: Accra is a thriving metropolis. The main city teaching hospital offers a broad spread of medical experience. You have the opportunity to specialise. Accommodation is in our international student house with a cook, cleaner ... all you need so you can maximise your elective time. Ideal for someone seeks a good degree of support as our staff live with you.

South Africa: Knysna a friendly, welcoming town with lots of attractions and activities. Furthermore, Knysna and its surrounding area offers visitors the chance to go hiking or mountain biking in the surrounding forests, go fishing, dive with Great White Sharks, enjoy the view of Knysna Lagoon from the Western Head Nature Reserve or just chill out on the stunning Bollard Beach!

3. Unusual and Unique Electives:

Costa Rica “Pop Up” Clinic. Provide immediate and urgent medical cover in regions with limited facilities. Working with our local NGO, subject to your experience you will support existing Doctors or provide direct care. Accommodation, food and local travel are all included. Plus an opportunity to explore this diverse county.

Red Cross Mobile Clinic: Support International Red Cross Doctors in this mobile clinic. Based in Quito in Ecuador, you will depart each day in mobile clinics to remote villages providing primary care. The placement also includes practical experience in the Red Cross urban clinics to ensure a complete experience. Free weekends to explore the Amazon, the beach or visit the Galapagos Islands. Our MedFORCE UK leader in Quito will provide support and arrange to meet with other students.

Expedition Medic: Support our UK doctors on various expeditions throughout the year. Learn Jungle Survival skills. Help teach simple safety and resuscitation techniques.
