My London team includes medically trained staff and a current University Elective Approval Coordinator, who evaluate our programs before offering them to you. We are unique in having our own UK staff permanently based in most of the countries we operate.
This means; we meet you when you land, our in country staff will have the best electives already in place, accommodation and transport at local rates all sorted and ensure you have a great social life too!

Your Safety:

You undertake a UK briefing day before you fly. Our staff meet you when you arrive and provide your Welcome and Safety briefing. You will be taken to your elective placement and 24/7 support provided when you are on our professional medical elective.

All programs are also externally inspected to British Standard 8848. We are inspected by the Year Out Group and we are members of the British Government Foreign Office Know Before You Go program to ensure British Nationals are safe when they are overseas.

Our role is to source, provide and manage your Medical Elective, so you have an instructive and amazing placement.

Your Financial Protection:

It is important to know that you will be safe on your project. Although we have over twenty years experience we have ensured your money will also be safe with us.

All bookings paid by your credit card are typically protected, check with your individual card company.

In addition we are a bonded travel operator: Call us for your full policy details, but here is a summary “In accordance with The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992 all passengers booking with Gapforce (London) Ltd are fully insured for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Gapforce (London) Ltd. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Chapman Stevens through HCCI International Insurance Company PLC.”
